Who am I?

I am originally from England and completed my bachelors degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology at the University of Wales, Swansea. I moved to Virginia in 2010 and started working as a social skills coach.

In 2011 I began a new role, providing intensive in-home counseling in the Northern Virginia area. As I began the journey towards licensure, I attended George Mason University and University of South Florida for additional classes, eventually becoming licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) in 2018.

Shortly after this I started providing outpatient counseling at a group practice, until I branched out and started my own practice in 2021. One of my main reasons for doing so was to reach clients who were not ready to return to an office to meet, but were also not feeling positive about online counseling. I am passionate and excited about bringing my therapy outdoors and adding a non-traditional take on mental health treatment.
